Kings of Pool is proud to host an incredibly active community of players who participate in our ongoing Club Battle Leagues. As Club Battles are without a doubt the most competitive aspect of Kings of Pool, fairness and integrity are key qualities of the game.
We've listened and worked with members of the community to understand what players want out of this mode and what they believe is fair, in order to improve the overall game experience. Below you'll be able to find exactly what is and isn't allowed, as well as how it affects your account.
RESTRICTED ACTIONS
Owning Multiple Accounts - as per Kings of Pool's Terms of Service, each user is limited to a single account. In other words, owning multiple or "alternate" accounts is strictly prohibited. If you are found to have multiple accounts, one or more of the accounts may be banned, reset, or otherwise penalized — especially if they are found to have been interacting.
Offensive User Names & Chat Messages - There is a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind, be it overtly offensive messages or user names that are derogatory. Language filters exist in game to prevent derogatory remarks, and any attempt to circumvent our language filters are not permitted.
"Boosting" Another Account's Cash Total - the transfer of in game funds, by methods which include matchmaking with a friend and intentionally losing so as to send them your cash, is strictly prohibited. Transferring cash from one account to another jeopardizes the integrity of club battles and fair competition.
ADDITIONAL RULES
Getting Banned - If an account has been determined to be playing in violation with the Terms of Service and receives a ban, all contributions that account made towards the Club's battle points will be voided.
Leaving Your Club Mid Battle - If a player leaves a club mid battle, their contributions to that team are removed from the total. These contributions will not move over to the new club, and instead they disappear. For this reason it is recommended not to exit and join different clubs mid battle.
Joining a Club Mid Battle - in the PRO and AMATEUR League Club Battles, players who join a new club midway through a Club Battle will see a "waiting on next battle" screen in the Clubs Menu and will NOT be able to participate / contribute until the current club battle has ended. Once the new battle begins, you'll be able to participate and help your new team win.
EXHIBITION ROUNDS
Exhibition is a special type of game status in Kings of Pool that does NOT count towards Club Battles or Rank movement. The following types of games are considered Exhibition Matches:
Battles With Club Members - Should players belonging to the same club face each other, these matches will not count towards Club Battle contributions. Cash can be earned, but not club points.
Battles With Friends - Challenging a friend in Kings of Pool is always considered an Exhibition Match. Any funds won in these matches will not count towards Club Battle contributions OR Rank.
Rematches - In Kings of Pool you always have the option to rematch an opponent. However, these rematches do not count for Club Battle contributions.
Multiple Matches Per Day With Same Opponent - Even if it is not an immediate rematch, players who play more than a few matches a day against the same opponent will have their games become Exhibition Matches.
Ante Up - Using the "Ante Up" Icon to double the stakes of your Billiards game will give you the chance to win big. While those winnings will go to your wallet, they will not count towards Club Battle Totals. In other words, using Ante Up will turn your game into an Exhibition Match.
NOTE: RIVAL CLUBS
If you happen to match up against a member of the club you’re currently facing — whether it be through matchmaking, challenge, or rematch — the match will NOT be considered an Exhibition Match, and battle points will be added to the team of the winner. Playing (and defeating) a member of your rival club will actually earn you 2x the Club Battle Points!
