How Do Lifelines Work?

Lifelines are special items that you can use to help you answer a question when you’re not sure of the answer.

There are different Lifelines that you can use:

• 50:50 - This Lifeline removes two incorrect answers, leaving you with two possible choices.
• Ask The Audience - Poll the studio audience to see what they think the answer is.
• Swap Question - Switches the question for a brand new question.
• Ask An Expert - Have one of your experts tell you what they think the answer is.
• Milestone Maker - This appears on your Money Ladder after you beat your opponent (it appears as a flag in the top left corner of your screen) to allow you to make a milestone. If you respond to a question incorrectly, you'll receive the coin winnings from your milestone instead of the coin winnings where you beat your opponent.

Using Lifelines is easy! Lifelines appear at the bottom of the screen while answering a question. Simply tap the Lifeline you’d like to use and you will immediately see the effect. You can use each Lifeline once per question. Using Swap Question will allow you to use the other Lifelines, but you won’t be able to swap the replacement question.

You have a limited number of Lifelines to use. The quantity you have is indicated by a number attached to the Lifeline icon. If you run out of a specific Lifeline, you can use Coins to activate the Lifeline instead.
